What is in your blood?
Your blood has red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. The red cells carry oxygen, the white cells fight infections, and platelets help clotting and tissue repair.

PRP uses a concentrated part of your own blood, placed at the pain site, for selected joints, tendons, and sports injuries.

This article is from Dr. Nitish Mandal, Consultant Pain Physician in Bangalore, with clinics in Koramangala and J.P. Nagar.
Your blood has red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. The red cells carry oxygen, the white cells fight infections, and platelets help clotting and tissue repair.
A sample is drawn and processed to concentrate platelets, then injected at the pain site. Preparation takes about 30 minutes. The injection is brief. You are discharged afterwards.
PRP for pain needs accurate placement into joints or spine and should be performed by a trained pain physician. Guessing from the skin surface is not the same as reaching the injured tissue.

I have tried tablets and physiotherapy. What is different here?
Find the source of the pain, then treat that source with a clinic injection, block, or infusion. You are typically able to go home the same day.
Where are the clinics, and do I need an appointment?
Koramangala and J.P. Nagar. Prior appointment is preferred. You can book from this website.
